De Ontdekfabriek
The possibilities at the Ontdekfabriek (Discovery Plant) are really extremely diverse. The hands-on approach in this ‘interactive museum’ is contagious. During inventor's workshops children are challenged to choose an adventure during which they will be building inventions themselves. First they will watch an inspiring video. It's also possible to make videos yourself. In the workshop you will learn a lot about technology, while you can play indoors as well as outdoors, in a playground with unexpected equipment, each of which have their own story. There is also a nice bar where you can discuss you experiences while having a snack or drink. A foreign visitor made the following remark sitting at this bar: “This would not be possible in my country!” Additional opening hours during school holidays.
